iTunes 10.2.1

Apple has just released iTunes 10.2.1.

It has been just a week since Apple released iTunes 10.2, which added support for iOS 4.3, which will be released on March 11th or probably even earlier and improves iTunes Home Sharing feature.

The what’s new section is the same as iTunes 10.2, so it’s not clear what has changed:

  • Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.3.
  • Improved Home Sharing. Browse and play from your iTunes libraries with Home Sharing on any iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 4.3..

The only explanation that we can think of is that Apple has probably fixed a critical bug introduced in iTunes 10.2.

You can download iTunes 10.2.1 from this link or via Apple Software update. It is available for  Mac OS X 10.5 and higher and Windows (32-bit and 64 bit). iTunes 10.2.1 is approximately 78 MB in size for Mac and approximately 37 MB in size for Windows.

We’ll let you know if iTunes 10.2.1 is safe for users who have jailbroken and/or unlocked their iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch shortly so stay tuned here at iPhone Hacks or follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed.
