Google Search App For iPhone: Revamped Google Mobile App Brings Look And Feel Of Google.com
Google has just released a new version of Google Mobile App. Google has completely redesigned the app and has also given it a new name – Google Search app.
The Google Search app comes with features such as a new toolbar, quicker access to the search bar, number of improvements to features such as Google Goggles, Voice Search, Search with My Location, Gmail unread counts and more.
Google’s Alastair Tse, Software Engineer and Robert Hamilton, Product Manager provide details about the new features and changes:
you’ll see that there are now more ways to interact with the app. When browsing through search results or looking at a webpage, you can swipe down to see the search bar or change your settings. For those who use other Google apps, there’s an Apps button at the bottom of the screen for rapid access to the mobile versions of our products.
Google Search app also gets a new toolbar, which can be accessed by swiping from left to right.

Though we use Google for searching on the iPhone and the iPad, we’ve hardly used the Google Mobile app as the search box in iPhone’s Mobile Safari is a lot more convenient. We really like the new user interface and design of the app and might end up using it more.
What do you think about the new Google Search app? Will you use it? Let us know in the comments.
