Apple Products Are Not Allowed In The Gates Household – Melinda Gates
Melinda Gates has in a recent interview to the New York Times Magazine reaffirmed that the Gates family doesn't welcome Apple products in to their household.
In the past, Melinda was overheard saying that she wouldn't mind having a look at the iPhone. That was then. This time though, she was much more sterner when asked about Apple products. The Interview appears on the Sunday, Oct. 24, issue of the New York Times Magazine.
Here are some excerpts from the interview:
Q: Do you own an iPod, which is made by Apple?
Melinda: No, I have a Zune.
Q: What if one of your children says, "Mom, I have to have an iPod"?
Melinda: I have gotten that argument — "You may have a Zune."
Q: Is it true that Bill works on an Apple laptop?
Melinda: False. Nothing crosses the threshold of our doorstep.
Q: Isn't there room in this world for both Apple and Microsoft?
Melinda: Microsoft certainly makes products for the Macintosh. Go talk to Bill
Now, before blaming Melinda to be “too petty”, do you think Steve Jobs or any other people closely associated with him would be caught using a Microsoft product. Ever?
What do you think?
