Web 2.0 Acquisitions, The Game

Who isn’t a sucker for maps, and especially maps about the Internet, and especially interactive maps about the Internet that also function as a “Who should acquire who?” acquisition guessing game where people can add their suggestions about what companies should buy what other companies just like you guys do in our comments sections?

Thus I present to you the Web 2.0 Summit “Points Of Control” map in “Acquisition mode,” which apparently charts where something called “The Battle for the Network Economy” is waged.

Warning: Like some of these companies and their business models, I’m having trouble getting parts of the map to actually work.

Click map for interactive version. Via/ John Battelle
